Connecting with God is as simple as calling out to Him. Yes, you read me, just call out. It really is that easy.
Why would God answer your call? It is because of God’s love for you that you are here in this world. In the womb of your mother, God created you. He selected the genes necessary to become who you are. You are unique and unmatched. [Psalms 139:13-16] You embody the qualities of a rare and beautiful diamond. Yet, your full brilliance only comes through when He is part of your life. Do you think He would be hesitant to answer your call?
Furthermore, He never intended for you to walk alone.
Have you ever wondered why, despite all that you’ve done, you still feel like it’s not enough? Why do you always feel unsatisfied, even with what you have? What makes it so challenging to spend a single day in simple joy, let alone a week, month, or the rest of your life? The truth has been whispered by your heart and soul for years. The spiritual emptiness that you feel can only be healed by asking God to be a part of your life.
Calling out to God
If you are ready to stop wrestling with the things of this world but need some help connecting to God, consider repeating the following prayer. This, and others like it, is based on Romans 10:9-10. It is admitting to God that regardless of how hard you have tried, you cannot do it alone. You need a savior. Someone to help as you live through the challenges of life. You need God and His son Jesus.
Regardless of where each of us start from, each of us begins our own journey with this first step. Are you ready to move forward?
Your Next Step
If you have taken this step to receive Jesus as your personal savior, I encourage you to share this with others who have accepted Him. You know whom I am talking about. They have been praying for you for some time now. There are also some websites I can offer that may help you as you begin your journey with Jesus. You can find those links on the Connect with Others page. The organizations listed are not unique in any way, but like dear friends they have helped me along the way . I have grown to trust and love them over the years. They may help you as well. If you like, you can also drop me a quick note on the Prayer Request page.
Always remember, while only God knows your future, He is there to share it with you.
Blessings in the name of Jesus Christ,
Rob Nimchuk
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
